We pioneered new material and novel technology to enhance traditional kitchenware and improve the quality of human life. We have embarked on this journey to manufacture a better knife. In cooperation with Yangjiang Hardware Knives and Scissors Industry Technology Research Institute (YHKSITRI), MohsMax has built up an innovative research and development team. The team includes over four professors, five engineers, and ten experts with doctor and master's degrees, to redefine knives with super edges and specific functions.

Powder steel is formed by blending very finely ground powders of the required metals, compressing them into shape, and heating them to melt together. Several characteristics are improved , including the strength, ductility, toughness, and electrical and thermal conductivity of the material based on introducing well-designed alloy powder. YHKSITRI has focused on the research of high-performance alloy powder for over six years.

Besides powder steel, MohsMax owns the patented plasma/laser cladding technology (indispensable high-tech widely applied to aerospace, aviation, and military fields), which, combined with powder steel, enhances MohsMax's products to serve our customers better, for longer , and more efficiently.
